Incredibly detailed in some areas, but woefully deficient in others. I've spent hours writing in bony landmarks, small arteries, and various nerves.These are anatomical paintings and therefore do not contain the level of detail I hoped for. If you have a Netter's atlas and you like it, this should be fine for you. If you own a different atlas, this will be a step down for you. I regret not getting the flashcards that match my preferred atlases, Atlas of Anatomy and Rohen's Photographic Anatomy.These will not be sufficient for PA/Medical school. Undergrad A&P only.

Wonderful drawings! Netter nails it in that regard, but most A&P classes and books are organized by system. These cards are organized by area of the body which makes it very hard to find what you're looking for when following a standard A&P class by body system. For example, if you want the cards on the skeletal system, you do not have a section for that, instead you have to sort through every card to pull out the skeletal cards from each section (head, upper extremity, lower extremity, lower extremity, etc...)

Cards are beautiful, and organization by body region is very useful for my purposes. There are icons in the top left corner of each card so you can re-sort by system if preferred. I love that the holes are pre punched and the box that holds the cards is sturdy. So 5 stars for the cards. I was pretty excited to use the app to be able to study on the go, which is one of the reasons I chose these over others. However, the app is basically unusable for studying. It freezes, and only the front of the card and a short blurb is included. So no names to check yourself 😾. I like the cards well enough to keep them, but they are not sturdy enough to just toss in a purse or back pack, so the app would have been great. Seems to me a flash card app shouldn’t be that hard to write/maintain... one star off for that.

I purchased the flash cards along with the anatomy atlas ahead of my first year of medical school. I have been extremely pleased with the content included in the flash cards; however, the reason why I bought these cards new (vs buying them second hand off another student) was the access to the mobile app for on the go study. I downloaded the app, registered my cards, and when I tried to open the cards the app crashed. I tried restarting my phone, closing all other apps, reinstalling the app, and nothing worked. I reached out to inkling (the app company for the cards) and I have been disappointed with their handling of the situation. The content of the cards is great, but if you are buying them to also have access to a functional mobile app for on the go study I would look elsewhere.

This is a really good, convenient way to study anatomy when you're on the go. I study these flash cards on the bus, while waiting in line at the pharmacy, everywhere. I hate anatomy an am not a visual person whatsoever so I need all the help I can get. The best part about these cards is that they have the nerve supply on the back for each muscle, and related clinical correlations, so it's a great study tool.

These have helped me tremendously in studying anatomy, the pictures are accurate and clinical correlations help in integrating the material. Comes with a keyring for studying on the go, which is very helpful. Additionally there is an app that allows for the electronic version of the cards. Very happy with the purchase.

Last semester I took a fast track A&P course. It was a year's worth of A&P in one semester. Each half (A&P I and A&P II) was 8 weeks, so you can imagine how quickly it went. I did very well in the class, and these cards helped a lot. The detail of the drawings is exquisite. We had a cadaver lab and I had no problem identifying things on the cadaver even though I primarily studied the Netter cards. We also used models and our table had a terrible time getting a hold of the good models--as in, half the models we never even got a chance to see before the test--and I was able to get through without a problem using the cards.I highly recommend these cards. I purchased a couple other references--a coloring book and an atlas--and I ended up using only these.

Gross anatomy is, well, gross both in the decaying cadavers and in the huge amount of things you need to learn. These flashcards contain virtually the same info as the Netter's Atlas but condense it into a more compact size to carry around with you. In addition to the flashcard style of presentation of the labeling of the plates on the flashcards, there is also usually a small blurb of additional information that ties it all together on the flashcard as well. They are pretty well organized, but they are also physically of high quality. The cards are laminated and can be held together with the provided metal ring, so they are relatively resistant to damage, which makes it convenient to take to the gym, etc. Definitely a handy thing to have for gross.

OMG this was such a great read!! The story starts with Graham Walker-Pleasure is being held hostage by some crazed woman. And while he is held we learn Graham Walker's past. How as a young man that came from a good family loving mother and father that was just trying to find himself. Wouldn't go to school and stayed in constant trouble. Graham eventually became a sex addict whom learned this behavior from his father Tylar whom constantly sexed all different types of women all the time no same in his game. Its discovered that Graham was molested by an older boy at his mother's church and which effected his life. This also had him question his sexuality and played a part in him sexing women. Hanging with the wrong type of women got him hooked on drugs but he pulled through it. Once he pulled through it he met his best friend Quinn. They discussed everything and hung out together. During this time Graham became Pleasure the stripper and learned his craft, skill and earned big money and a helluva reputation. He never really knew what love was and every time he thought he did it came with a price. But what really blew me was how it ended and it was discovered that the crazed woman holding him hostage was his used be friend Quinn which ended up being Lionel the child molester!! That negro had gotten a sex change and after all those years was attracted and so-called loved Pleasure!! Now that was a helluva twist to this story for sure!! This book would not allow me to put it down to the end. A totally great read and I would definitely highly recommend it.

I couldn't put it down!!! The crazy just kept calling me!!! I was up till 6am tryna find out who the crazy was!!! READ THIS ONE!!! The sex is off the chain too!!!

Fantastic content and very easy to read through.

Rabbi Schwab, a renowned Rabbi who survived the Holocaust and emigrated to New York, has posthumously published, with the help of Artscroll, a meticulous explanation of the most frequently recited Jewish prayers. The detail and liberal use of Hebrew can be intimidating, particularly if you're a "new Jew" like me--a baal t'shuvah. For those of you seeking a more elementary text, I highly recommend Steinsalt's book on prayer, Reuven Hammer's "Entering Jewish Prayer," and Donin's "To Pray As a Jew." But this book belongs on your shelf. It can be skimmed, read closely, or consulted for in-depth analyses. It will be there waiting for you (and, baruch Hashem) for me when the day comes that I'll be able fully to appreciate and apprehend it. I may not understand the book in its entirety, but I know a masterpiece when I see one.

Being familiar with Rav Schwab's other writings this work, despite being published several years after his passing, closely reflects his style. Much of what he says (they were originally taped lectures) is either based on the plain meaning but phrased in an acutely relevant way, or alternatively highly original (e.g. his system on the structure of the prayers reflecting that of the daily service in the Temple in Jerusalem). Some background knowledge required.A particular strength is his attention to the custom of his own community. While many other communities gradually adopt a generally uniform style, Rav Schwab's community stuck true to its German customs. I love michiyo’s patterns and have collected her books in Japanese for years, though it is not my language. I can generally figure out the crochet patterns, but the knitting eluded me. So I was beyond thrilled to see a selection of her very unique patterns made more accessible to English-speakers like me. She has such a vast library of stunning patterns, I hope she considers translating more of them!

Very interesting shapes in this collection. Inspired knitting, and I plan to use lots of them as basic dress making silhouettes for my own designs. Add some cool colourwork and you've got a great creation! The double layered vest thingy is wonderful. I plan to use it as a template but in fingering weight yarn and vivid colour. I have already used the wrap that is simply a long rectangle with a slit in the center. I re-engineered it to make a stole for my daughter with a tweed look in blue-violet heathered yarns. It looks stunning with a white silk satin blouse and navy blue trousers. Thank you michiyo!

Just loved it and still reading

I really wish Amazon would add a button for "It's a lovely book but not at all what I wanted or expected." I hate to give a book a low grade if the quality of the book is good, simply because it's not to my taste. This is a pretty book with great photos of each design. The patterns in this book are clever and many are made by knitting flat pieces and folding or sewing them in ingenious ways to create the garments. A variety of yarn weights are used. Both diagrams and schematics are included,helpful given that many designs are constructed in a unique way. Unfortunately, I had expected more of the intricate lace and cabled stitchwork you often see in magazines like Keito Dama, more fitted looks with more advanced skills--while there are a few of these,there are a good number of boxier designs. If you aren't sure, I'd advise checking out photos of the garments before you order. I took one star away because there is a significant proportion of crocheted designs (I counted 16 knit to 9 crocheted designs).. This is a peeve of mine -- the book should clearly let purchasers know that a third or more of the designs are crocheted since the two crafts are not interchangeable.

This is not really a book of knitting patterns, more crochet than knitting. I know that Japanese knitting books can be either knitting or crochet, I would have expected the translation to be more accurate though. Many of the patterns are very simplistic and boxy. I wish that I had seen the book before ordering it.

For it to be called "Japanese Knitting" the book is at least half crochet. There's only about 3 patterns I really liked and most of the sweaters are boxy and shapeless. I'm pretty let down by this book.

Stunningly original patterns! I hope michiyo releases more of her books in English!

I bought this book and the series for my grandson pre school graduation. His mother is going to keep it and give to him on his high school graduation. It is a very meaningful book. It encourages the individual to be himself/herself no matter what others think.

Great book about the beauty of variety in the world. The last page(s) are a little long compared to the quick progression throughout the rest. Just makes it a little tougher for my barely-4-year-old to sit through the moral of the story. But she'll grown into it. Love it!

This book has such a positive message and I love how on the front and back inside covers there are different quotes to inspire. Being a teacher I used these quotes in my daily morning messages and also read this book right at the beginning of the year to help develop a sense of acceptance and comfort in my classroom. A great read by Linda Kranz!

The price marked in the back of the book is $7.95...It was a used book, creases and discoloration. Otherwise, my 5 year old son loves it.

Oh, this book was fun to look at. Looking at the ever so daring colored homes brings a sence of jealousy..Why can't I do that :-)but this book is for entertaining, not for educating. It has lovely photos, great colors of bulidings and walls. Text does accompany the photos mind you, if gives you a brief background to the style, but When you are going to paint your porch orange, and your stairs blue, and your walls exterior fushia, do you need an explaination?? Have some fun!
